Here is a growing collection of
pictures sent in by slotcar fans. It's always neat to see how people
detail their cars, tracks, and scenic items. Use this as a great
source of ideas for your own raceway! Please feel free to send in
your own shots in .jpg format. Please include details which I'll
use in a short description. <Click here to submit pictures>
Check back often, I hope to add new material on an ongoing basis!

We'll start off with my favorite model, the Dodge Charger. These pictures were sent in by Rich Cafaro. Both Chargers are original Aurora cars, Rich has had the Red Mopar since it was a "baby"! Great cars Rich! Incidentally, I learned something interesting from a collector. Take a look at the rear wells on an original Charger body, you'll notice they are not symetrical, it's hard to notice, but they're different. Rich just added more pictures from his collecton, as of today (4-18-2001). The Tbird looks great, as does the "Fat Cigar" and the red dune buggy!

Here is a shot from my buddy Mark Ferris. He's got a Model Motoring, Inc. Chevelle and a Road Race Replica's El Camino. He was experimenting with white walls on different cars. I think they look pretty good on the El Camino. Find a surf board for that thing Mark!

This is Andy Meyer's 1956 Pickup Truck, made by Road Race Replica's.. Sharp detail on this slotcar, it looks like a bigger 1/25 scale model to me. The other shot is a sharp looking Aurora Sandvan, one of the last body styles made up for the old Tjet chassis.

Here are some great looking cars from John Wilson's collection! I especially like the VW's!

These came from an unknown sender (Johnilight?). Talk about conversions, a chopped low rider Merc, and a Horse N' Buggy! (Can you say "Amish Slotcars?) Too cool!

Ron Lane (VintageIronworks) built this beauty from assorted parts. This slammed ride looks as if it's itchin' to do some "revenue runnin'".. Thanks Ron, you have a super eye for detail!
